1 of 38 sculptures cast from the recuperated books at the Magnus Hirschfeld Gesellschaft

Each object iterates a single book recovered by the Magnus Hirschfeld Society. All of these were from the original library of 20,000 at the Institute for Sexual Research that were stolen and destroyed. Nazi youth ransacked the Institute on May 6, 1933 and the majority of the library's contents were publicly burned by Nazi officers, four days later.
